During our Christmas Shopping on a Friday morning my husband and I were looking for a new brunch spot. We did as always, went to Facebook and asked for recommendations. We wanted to try a place we had never been before. After several suggestions and looking through pictures on Google, we decided on Prelude Breakfast Bar in Fayetteville, AR. It’s quaint and they have an open Kitchen so you can see your meal being cooked. Several people commented on my post so I was scared we weren’t going to be able to get in. However, I think because we went on a weekday morning, we were able to avoid the crowd.
One of the main factors I like to focus on besides the quality of the food is the ambiance. Also, because I am a Blogger I am very interested in picture opportunities lol. Let’s just be real. There are a lot of plants at the Restaurant and it is more of a Boho Vibe. Their staff is really nice and extremely helpful, so that was a plus for me. As I mentioned above their location is small so just be aware if you have a large group to plan accordingly as seating is limited. I didn’t get any pictures of the inside, but when I go back I will make sure to update this post!
When you go to Prelude’s website, the tool bar says “Best Pancakes in Town” and I have found this to be true. I am very particular about how my pancakes are prepared. I like them fluffy in the middle and fried on the outside. They knocked this out of the park. And there are so many pancake options to choose from. I got the House Pancakes but there are other options like: Flight (you choose any 3 pancakes of your choice. My husband loved this one), Monkey Chip, and Sam’s Stack to name a few. Also featured is “Da Mornin’ skillet” with hashbrown, eggs, red peppers, bacon. Basically heaven on a plate. Needless to say I was only able to eat half of my pancakes and skillet, then took the rest home.
Several of the features on my page are going to be places we travel to outside of our city, but I also think it is important to touch on local restaurants in your area as well. If you are in the Fayetteville, AR area make sure you check out Prelude Breakfast Bar. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
If you are local to the area have you tried this restaurant before? Drop me a comment below!
